Thurman, Randy L.: - RANDY L. THURMAN started in the financial planning business in 1987, and has since become widely recognized as one of the top financial advisors in the United States. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional, also known as a CFP(R) professional. PFS candidates must pass a technical exam and complete rigorous continuing education requirements. Randy holds four degrees, including an MBA from Oklahoma State University, and has taught investing, personal finance, and economics at the college level. In 1990 Randy founded his firm, Financial Planning Company of Oklahoma, which in 1997 merged with Retirement Investment Advisors, Inc. He continues today as Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership the firm has become one of the largest fee-only investment advisory firms in Oklahoma in which all advisors are CFP(R) professionals. As a result of more than thirty years of dedication and commitment to excellence in financial planning, Randy is frequently lauded as one of the nation's most trusted investment advisors.
