Brandon Sanderson, Dean Koontz, Pierce Brown, and Patricia Briggs are among the authors with whom Rik has collaborated. Rik recently participated on Brandon Sanderson's White Sand Volume 1 graphic novel, which he co-wrote with Brandon Sanderson and Julius M. During last year's Dragon Con, Gopez won the Dragon Award for Best Graphic Novel. Rik is a British citizen.
