Joanna Rowland is an elementary school teacher in the San Juan Unified School district. As a teacher, she saw that many of her students have two homes, and wrote Always Mom, Forever Dad with those children in mind. She lives in California with her husband and three daughters. Penny Weber is a mother, wife, cat and dog lover, and artist who loves good books, hockey, and action movies.
