Always Your Stepmum by Stephanie Stansbie
A heartfelt celebration of the unconditional love between a stepparent and their child, written by Stephanie Stansbie and illustrated by Tatiana Kamshilina. Whatever you do, wherever you go, whoever you become - I'll always be your stepmum. This lyrical love letter of a book explores the unique challenges, joys and experiences of becoming a blended family. Designed in a beautiful scrapbook style, this is the perfect gift for a stepparent to give to their child. Just like A Handful of Buttons by Carmen Parets Luque, The Great Big Book of Families by Mary Hoffman and Ros Asquith, and The Perfect Fit by Naomi Jones and James Jones, every type of family will love sharing Always Your Stepmum.
“A heartfelt reminder that patience and openness are crucial when families welcome new members” -- Kirkus Reviews
Stephanie Stansbie (Author) Stephanie has been a children's book editor, and then an author, for most of her adult life. She adores editing and writing in equal measure and has always worked on illustrated books, where the art is as important as the word. The books she has written have been translated into more than 15 different languages. Stephanie lives in Oxford, England, and enjoys goofing about with her family and friends, going to the theatre and chocolate porridge. Tatiana Kamshilina (Illustrator) Tatiana is a Russian illustrator who works all over the world. Despite graduating with a degree in architecture, she discovered that her true passion is illustration. Her main focus is illustrating children's books, and when she is not drawing, she finds joy in gardening, reading, and exploring the woods with her husband and her two funny dogs.
