Clare Oliver has written around fifty information books for children. For Franklin Watts, she has authored the Just the Job series and other Citizenship titles include three in the Animals That Help Us series, one of which was shortlisted by NASEN for its Special Educational Needs Book Award. Her favourite moment in working on the People Who Help Us series was being allowed to steer the Tynemouth lifeboat up the Tyne! Clare lives in East London.
