This purpose of this book is to assist those interested in sport/industry a way to reduce cost, enjoy the journey and to remain injury free along the way. This book is written by a panel of African American Subject Matter Experts and touch on topics only African Americans can discuss such as Hair Care and Maintenance, etc. This book is the first and only one of its kind in the industry. This book is or everyone with a special emphasis on African Americans.For many years, Marlene Targ Brill has been writing children's books. She received her Administrative Certificate and her B.S. from Loyola University. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign She graduated from Roosevelt University with a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She began writing while working as a special education teacher, creating resources to aid her students' learning.
The desire to write grew stronger over time. She soon found herself writing for periodicals, newspapers, newsletters, videotapes, and textbooks, as well as designing content for readers of all ages. Through her work and visits to schools across the country, Marlene continues to interact with children. She continues to write fiction and nonfiction books for children and adults, as well as articles and instructional products.
TOOTH TALES FROM AROUND THE WORLD, THE DIARY OF A DRUMMER'S BOY (Millbrook), and RAINY DAYS AND RAINBOWS (World Book) are among her works. Marlene and her family reside in Illinois.
