In 1876 three US Army Scouts leading an infantry column arrive at the scene of the Battle of Little Bighorn on the morning after General Custer's defeat. Andrew Huebner, a former bike messenger, construction worker, waiter, and lumberyard man, is a professor of English at City University of New York. American By Blood is his first novel. He lives in New York City.
