The Andes by Stephen Lee

The natural, cultural and practical aspects of the Andes are examined in this book. The largest mountain range in the world, the Andes cover nearly 7000 kilometres from one end to the other. This book focuses on the central, and most often visited, section - the Andes of Ecudaor, Peru and Bolivia. Chapters on geographical formations, the history and exploration of the mountains, the people and natural life of the area, trekking, photography, climbing and skiing in the range as well as information on the dangers of the mountains and travel by rail and road are all included. The book is divided by subject for ease of reference.
STEPHEN LEE has cofounded and sold two of the country's best-known tea brands, Tazo Tea and Stash Tea. After discovering kombucha on one of his tea importing trips to Russia, Stephen launched Kombucha Wonder Drink in 2001. It can now be found in natural foods stores, grocery stores, pubs, spas, hotels, college campuses, and coffee and tea houses across the country. He also recently launched Tea Tibet, a not-for-profit tea company benefiting Tibet.
