Angelina's Halloween by Katharine Holabird
Angelina and her friends love Halloween - they make sparkly firefly costumes and have a lovely tea party with goblin biscuits and scary games. Angelina's little sister Polly wants to be a firefly too, but Angelina says she's too small and clumsy, so her mother makes Polly a spooky Halloween costume instead. Polly ends up giving Angelina a real fright when she gets lost in an old haunted house - but she is soon found and Angelina promises Polly her very own firefly costume next year.
Angelina is a magical character who fulfils every little girl's dreams * Darcey Bussell, CBE *
