Ari Folman (1962) naci� en Haifa, Israel, hijo de una familia de supervivientes del Holocausto nazi. Tambi�n guionista, Folman es actualmente uno de los directores cinematogr�ficos m�s renombrados de Israel. David Polonsky (1973) se gradu� en la Bezalel Academy of Art and Design deJerusal�n, donde actualmente imparte clases, en 1998. Como ilustrador paracuentos infantiles, ha obtenido dos veces el premio del Museo de Israel. En 2008 particip� como director art�stico y dibujante de la premiada pel�cula Waltz with Bashir.
