Dr. Jessica Black received her medical studies at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, she earned a bachelor of arts degree from Cardinal Stritch University. After a few of years of developing her recipes and marketing locally, Dr. Black published The Anti-Inflammation Diet and Recipe Book in 2006. Dr. Black and her husband, Dr. Jason Black, enjoy spending their time between their two Oregon clinic sites, giving family healthcare to Multnomah, Yamhill, and adjacent counties. In 2010, she co-authored Living with Crohn's and Colitis; A Complete Naturopathic Guide to Health and Wellbeing with Dede Cummings. Dr. Black is a naturopathic adviser for MamaBaby Haiti, a non-profit organization that provides childbirth and pediatric care to Haitians. She specializes in women's medicine, including natural hormone balancing for menopause and childhood wellness, including chronic asthma and acute and chronic sickness in children.

Dr. Black and her husband co-founded Herb Fusion in 2011 and are developing a line of specialty products to help their patients and families improve their health. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two lively girls, as well as sharing her culinary and beverage creations with friends and family.
