Anvil New Poets by Graham Fawcett
This is an anthology of ten poets and translators who have previously only been published in poetry magazines. Contributors are Shirley Bell, Patricia Doubell, Mimi Khalvati, Felicity Napier, Bibhu Padhi, William Palmer, Petra Regent, Oktay Rifat, Valerie Thornton and Gerard Woodward.
Graham Fawcett was born in 1946 and has worked for the Arvon Foundation and in recent years has broadcast regularly on literature and music for BBC Radio 3, who commissioned a verse translation of Dante's 'La Vita Nuova' from him. He also teaches creative writing and world literature.
