Jean M. Williams is a University of Arizona professor emeritus. She was a professor who taught stress management and coping skills to high-achieving students. She spoke with elite amateur and professional athletes, as well as intercollegiate athletes and coaches. She coached nationally rated fencing teams earlier in her career. Williams has nine publications (seven of which are edited works) and over 100 research articles and book chapters to his credit. She is a fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology and a past president, fellow, and certified consultant of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
