In spiritual circles, Peter Mt.Shasta is famed for his one-of-a-kind narrative of contact with and training by freed beings known as Ascended Masters. He grew up in the Beatnik era in the New York suburbs, became spiritually awakened via yoga, and traveled to India in 1971, where he met Baba Ram Dass, Maharajji, Anandamayi Ma, Shivabauyogi, Sathya Sai Baba, and many other yogis, saints, and siddhas. After two trips to India, he returned to the West and encountered Saint Germain, the Ascended Master, at Muir Woods.
