This slim volume features the exploits of 'Lawrence of Arabia' - one of the most famous and enigmatic characters of World War I - the birth of Arab nationalism and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.David Murphy was born in Dublin in 1968 and is a graduate of both University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin. He is a contributor to the Dictionary of Irish Biography, and has published three books and numerous articles. His previous publications for Osprey Publishing include Elite 147: Irish Regiments in the World Wars and Warrior 115: Condottiere 1300–1500.
Peter Dennis was born in 1950. Inspired by contemporary magazines such as Look and Learn he studied illustration at Liverpool Art College. Peter has since contributed to hundreds of books, predominantly on historical subjects. He is a keen wargamer and modelmaker. He is based in Nottinghamshire, UK
