David Chappell BA(HonsArch), MA (Arch), MA (Law), PhD, RIBA has 50 years of experience in the construction business, having worked as an architect in the public and private sectors, as a contracts administrator for a building contractor, as a professor in construction law and contract procedures, and most recently as a construction contract consultant. He is currently the Director of David Chappell Consulting Limited and serves as an adjudicator on a regular basis. He was a Visiting Professor of Practice Management and Law at the University of Central England in Birmingham and a Professor and Senior Research Fellow in Architectural Practice and Management Research at The Queen's University Belfast. David Chappell is the author of numerous construction-related articles and publications. He is a RIBA Specialist Advisor and frequently talks.
