Tara Hudson lives in Oklahoma with her husband, son, and a zoo of misbehaving pets. She began writing to amusing her pals after earning her law degree. They were intrigued by her narrative about a ghost girl awakening in a cemetery and wanted to learn more about her. The Hereafter trilogy, which culminates in Elegy, was inspired by this short poem.
