Her best-known work, Art, opened in Paris and subsequently won a Tony Award for Best Play, a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy, and Molire Awards for Best Author, Best Play, and Best Production (Royale Theatre). Other Broadway works include Life X 3 (Circle in the Square Theatre) and her Tony Award and Laurence Olivier Award-winning God of Carnage (Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre).
Off-Broadway works include A Spanish Play (East 13th Street) and The Unexpected Man (Primary Stages).
