The Art of Peter Scott by Sir Peter Scott
This book of Sir Peter Scott's paintings includes some juvenile drawings and watercolours by the boy who was fascinated from a very early age by the natural world, and a few examples of his work at Oundle School and at Cambridge. His love of sailing is represented, as well as his wartime naval paintings and his book illustrations. Here are philosopical works, portraits of people, drawings of animals and flowers and preliminary sketches in addition to the oil paintings of birds and some of the artist's own comments on his work. Peter Scott designed the panda for World Wildlife Fund, and founded the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge.| SKU | Unavailable |
