Arthur Samuels, MD, received his BA and MA from Cornell University, where he did research in psychobiology. He obtained his MD degree and certification in psychiatry and psychiatric medicine from Tulane University. In recent years, he has been an avid student of Buddhis Psychology, particularly under the tuelage of the venerable Thich Nhat Hanh. He lives in New Orleans.
