Artist in Residence by Simon Bill

Artist in Residence by Simon Bill

A mordantly witty (modern) art farce: Simon Bill lifts the lid on the venal, novelty-seeking world of London's contemporary art scene.

A novel of dark satire.. laugh-out-loud funny. -- Peter Carty * Independent *
I bloody loved it! -- Gary Hume
A scabrous satire of the pantomime of the contemporary art world and its love affair with neuroscience. Hilariously funny. it should be compulsory reading for all potential art students and their teachers. -- Simon Critchley

Simon Bill studied at the RCA and St Martin's College and is closely associated with the YBA group of visual artists. He has had solo exhibitions in California, Cologne, London, Manchester and, most recently, a major retrospective at Baltic, Gateshead. Artist in Residence is his first work of fiction.
