Originally from Tennessee, Lewis lives in Chicago with her husband and four children. She taught and wrote curricula about masterpieces at the Art Institute of Chicago for many years before making the move to set up a studio practice at home while raising her children. Lewis's paintings are in private collections around the world. This is her first illustrated book. You can see more of her work at katelewisart.com and @katelewisart.
