ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dave Stanton was born in 1960 in Detroit, Michigan, and migrated to Northern California in 1961. In 1983, he graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He has worked as a bartender, newspaper advertising salesman, furniture mover, debt collector, and technology salesman over the years. He and his wife, Heidi, live in San Jose, California, with their two children, Austin and Haley. Stanton is the author of six novels starring Dan Reno, a private detective, and Cody Gibbons, an ex-cop.
