At the Beach by Roland Harvey
Detailing the perfect beach getaway, this charming picture book uses individual postcards to tell the tale of one family's adventures at Crabby Spit. In the spirit of Where's Waldo?, beach items such as a hat, towel, and sandals are lost--and children must find them with the help of the mischievous family dog, Rajah. Humorous and warm family vacation activities are depicted, including paddling, surfing, and finding treasures.
Roland Harvey is one of Australia's best-loved illustrators. His recent books include The Wombats Go on Camp and The Wombats at the Zoo and his family holiday adventure series, At the Beach (including a jigsaw edition), In the Bush, In the City, To the Top End, All the Way to W.A. and On the Farm. Roland's brilliant illustrations also feature in Horse Crazy! The Complete Adventures of Bonnie and Sam, in collaboration with Alison Lester.
