She is the author of numerous children's books on history and archaeology. Russell Barnett has contributed map artworks to a wide range of encyclopedias and atlases, and his architecture and wildlife illustrations have appeared in many books. He also has extensive experience illustrating reconstructions of ancient buildings and artifacts.
