Atlas of Gastrointestinal Surgery, 2/e by John Cameron
The first edition of this superb atlas on surgery of the biliary tract, pancreas, and liver was published 14 years ago. Dr. Cameron has revisited and updated this classic work to include laparoscopic techniques and to demonstrate new procedures and the current status of gastrointestinal surgical procedures. Written for the experienced surgeon, this two-volume work is beautifully illustrated with anatomical watercolor paintings by co-author Corinne Sandone that elevate the work to a level not seen in other atlases. Each operative indication and technique is fully illustrated. At Saint Mary's University, John Cameron, PhD, teaches literature. His research area is Early Modern Theatre, and his doctoral dissertation examines Shakespeare's English History plays in relation to Niccolo Machiavelli's works and political stratagems. Otherness: Essays and Studies also released his paper on Umberto Eco's Il cimitero di Praga, and he recently provided a chapter on 2 Henry VI to Kenneth Womack and William Baker's five-volume Companion to Shakespeare.
