Ovidia Yu is a well-known and well-respected writer in Singapore. She's had over thirty plays produced, and she's also the author of several mystery novels. She was a writing fellow at the National University of Singapore and obtained a Fulbright Fellowship to the University of Iowa's International Writers Program.
