The Autumn Garden by Richard Rosenfeld
After the bright floral displays of summer have faded, the fiery foliage colours of autumn take centre stage. The finest perennials, shrubs, autumn-flowering roses and trees of the season are illustrated in this practical book. It offers ideas on how to arrange plants in a variety of subtle and dazzling ways, both as single plantings and as part of an overall scheme. This guide is designed to help anyone seeking to take full advantage of brilliant autumnal colours in order to create a stunning, personal arrangement.
After a career as a publisher, Richard Rosenfeld became a freelance garden journalist. He has written eight gardening books and been a regular contributor to the Sunday Times Magazine, the Sunday Telegraph, the Sunday Express and the Daily Mail. He was voted Garden Writer of the Year in 1993. Richard has designed gardens in Italy, America and England, and lives in West Sussex, where he is converting a four-acre field into an arboretum.
