Marc Gee lives on the Wirral, Merseyside. He has written eleven stage plays which have been performed all around the country. One of his plays Al's Lads was made into a full feature film in 2001. Premiered by BAFTA, it was screened at the Cannes film festival and has been sold to over twenty countries worldwide. He has lectured in script writing at various schools, universities and literary festivals, as well as the BBC. This is his first novel.
