Awake To God by Spck
Attempts to bring together the different themes of self emptying and participation, which postmodern theologians have brought back into the conversation about God. This work relates these themes to the Christian tradition. It suggests a style of being and seeing for the contemporary Christian.
Until his recent retirement, the Revd Canon Melvyn Matthews was Chancellor (and latterly Acting Dean) of Wells Cathedral where he had responsibility for the cathedral's programme of education and spirituality.
