Harriet Brown is an assistant professor of magazine journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications Brave Girl Eating: A Family's Battle with Anorexia, her most recent book, will be released by William Morrow in September 2010. Brown contributes to the New York Times science section, magazine, and op-ed page, as well as Health, O, the Chicago Tribune, Parents, and a variety of other magazines. She worked on both American Girl and Wisconsin Trails magazines in Madison, Wisconsin, for 15 years. Feed Me! is another title.
