Barkus and Sly are foxes who have the unfortunate habit of sneaking out at night and stealing things from around and about. On one of these night-time excursions, they find themselves the proud owners of three chickens. One for supper for three whole days! Yum. Angela McAllister is the author of many wonderful books for children including our own 'Be Good Gordon'. Her humour and energy mark her out as a truly inventive and wonderful writer. Angela lives in Hampshire with her family. Sally Anne Lambert is also the creator of some very fine picture books. This is her first book for Bloomsbury and she has provided her characters with life, character and masses of determination, confirming the status of the chicken as the superhero-fowl of the animal world. Sally lives in Liverpool with her family.
