Dr. Smith earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from UCLA, where her dissertation focused on designing educational technology applications for the user experience. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Fullerton, with minor coursework in Child Development and Linguistics, and a Master of Arts in Administration focusing on Change Management from California State University, Northridge.
