Barcelona Superilla by Francesco Cocco Massimiliano Scaglione
The Superilla stands out as a radical project shaping the present and future of Barcelona. Its approach reorganizes urban mobility by prioritizing people over the needs of vehicles. Barcelona is aiming for an urban model with high-quality public spaces, intending to enhance the sustainability and livability of the city. The success of the Superilla poses a crucial challenge not only for Barcelona but also for other cities facing common challenges such as demographic pressure, an aging population, and atmospheric pollution. This book provides an interdisciplinary analysis of the Superilla project from urban, social, and environmental perspectives, emphasizing qualities and potential criticisms to guide other cities. It includes contributions from key professionals who have been directly or indirectly involved in the implementation and analysis of the project.| SKU | Unavailable |
