Naomi Adler was born in Israel. A Montessori teacher by training, she worked for The Polka Theatre for Children for many years. She has spent much of the past twenty-five years running workshops for special needs people in hospitals, day centres, special schools and community centres. Naomi has travelled extensively all her life and has recently worked in Bulgaria and Slovenia. Amanda Hall is an enthusiastic traveller who has spent time in Africa, India, North America and Europe. In addition to her artwork for book jackets and magazines, Amanda has illustrated several children's books, including The Barefoot Book of Stories from the Sea (1-898000-09-3). She now lives in Cambridge.
