Nicola Davies has been fascinated by the natural world since she was very young. Graduating from King's College, Cambridge with an honours degree in Zoology, she went on to become a television and radio presenter (she is perhaps best known as a presenter of The Really Wild Show), writer and producer. Amongst her books for children are three other Walker titles: Big Blue Whale, One Tiny Turtle and Wild About Dolphins. Nicola lives in Devon with her husband and their two children. Sarah Fox-Davies has illustrated many books for children, including Little Caribou (which she also wrote), Walk with a Wolf by Janni Howker, and Little Beaver and the Echo by Amy MacDonald. Sarah lives in Wales.
