Suzanne Nelson is a writer and editor who enjoys Mexican cuisine, particularly cheese enchiladas. Her parents are still glad for forcing her to take five years of Spanish in school since she will never forget what chapulines are. Cake Pop Crush, Macarons at Midnight, and Hot Chocolate Hearts are among her gastronomic romance middle grade stories. She grew up in Southern California, went to college in Texas, and worked as a children's book editor in New York City for eight years. She presently resides in the Connecticut town of Ridgefield.
