David Falconer lived in Bath during the Second World War. A retired schoolteacher, he now lives in Trowbridge and sings in Bath Abbey choir. With his son, Jonathan, he is also co-author of A Century of Bath (Sutton 1999). Jonathan Falconer is the author of more than fourteen books and is a commissioning editor for a well-known history publisher. He lives in Bradford-on-Avon.
