Iris Rainer Dart is a playwright and author from the United States. Her novel Beaches, which was adapted into a film of the same name, is her best-known work. I'll Be There, The Stork Club, and Some Sort of Miracle are among her other works. She's also authored a number of stage musicals and television productions, including The Sonny and Cher Show.
