Beading Basics And Beyond by Alice Korach

Beading Basics and Beyond features TOHO's 3-cut beads and Charlotte beads with projects that range from surprisingly simple to exquisitely elegant.
Founding Editor of Bead & Button, Alice Korach started beading at the age of 8 with her "Indian Bead Loom." Alice has always been active in a variety of handcrafts including knitting, spinning, weaving, embroidery, needlepoint, sewing, quilting, and sculpture. She earned a Ph.D. in English literature and taught on the college level for 13 years before becoming an editor at Threads Magazine. Upon leaving Threads, she and her ex started Bead & Button. Alice now works as a freelance writer, designer, and editor in the world of beads. She also creates one-of-a-kind pate de verre glass sculpture. Alice Korach is the founding editor of Bead & Button Magazine. Toshi Myoda has been a designer for TOHO beads for 15 years.
