The Beatles Get Back to Abbey Road by Bruce Spizer
In July of 1969 the Beatles returned to Abbey Road studios; where they had first begun their incredible partnership with producer George Martin; seven years earlier. The band recaptured the magic and camaraderie from the earliest sessions and Abbey Road would go on to top the charts in both the UK and the US. Although the group's January 1969 recordings would eventually be issued on Let It Be in May 1970; Abbey Road would be the last album recorded by the Beatles. The Beatles Recordings on Vee-Jay, The Beatles' Tale on Capitol Records, The Beatles on Apple Records, and The Origins of Beatlemania in America are among Bruce Spizer's eight critically regarded Beatles books. As a Beatles scholar, he has appeared on major television shows (ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's Early Show, CNN, and Fox National News) and radio shows (NPR, ABC, BBC), and has delivered talks at the Grammy Museum, the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and Beatles conventions in the United States and Liverpool. Bruce works as a consultant for Universal Music Group, Capitol Records, and Apple Corps, Ltd. on Beatles projects. He is a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana.
