Carol Johnson is a CPA, an avid adventurer, and an amateur comic who brings a variety of personal and professional experiences to her writing. She studied science, philosophy, astronomy, and ancient history while at the University of Washington. Johnson's treks into the Alaskan wilderness, the temples of Athens, the pyramids of Cairo, Caribbean cruises, and many other real-life activities have inspired her work and supplied the backdrops for her first novel, The Search for Tomorrow's Treasures. Her second novel, The Story of the Shadow Dwellers, was shaped by two years working at the Bathhouse Theater, twelve years supporting a Foundation that published scientific studies, and many years exploring the immensity of space and the human soul.
