Dr. Daniel Gordis is the Koret Distinguished Fellow and Senior Vice President of Shalem College in Jerusalem, as well as a columnist for the Jerusalem Post and Bloomberg View. Dr. Gordis was the founding dean of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the University of Judaism and the author of numerous publications on Jewish thinking and political currents in Israel, as well as a National Jewish Book Prize winner. After nine years as vice president of the Mandel Foundation in Israel and director of its Leadership Institute, he joined Shalem in 2007 to help create Israel's first liberal arts institution. He is a resident of Jerusalem.
