Becoming Silver Girl by Larissa Fleurette
Larissa Fleurette has spent time as an inpatient in mental health wards on three separate occasions. This is the story of the first hospitalization.
Larissa Fleurette Ho believes writing is a calling, not a job. Her credits include having been the editor-in-chief of the student creative nonfiction anthology Mindwaves. Her story Not Still Me, featured in this collection, won the 2014 Mississauga Arts Council (MARTYs) Emerging Literary Artist Award. She is on the brink of graduating from the University of Toronto Mississauga and will go on to complete an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia-after which she will travel the world. She enjoys storytelling more than anything else in life and spending time with family and friends.
