The Bee's Knees by Roger Mcgough
A brilliant collection of brand-new poems from 'the patron saint of poetry'. Longer, narrative poems sit comfortably with Roger McGough's sharper observations and insightful words in this collection, perfectly illustrated in black-and-white line by Helen Stephens.
Roger McGough was born in Liverpool and educated at the University of Hull. He came to prominence in the 1960s with the publication of THE MERSEY SOUND, and is now one of our most popular poets. He writes for all ages and performs all over the world. He was honoured with an OBE in 1997 and won the Signal Poetry Award in 1998. Roger is heard regularly on radio and is now the regular presenter of Radio 4's POETRY PLEASE. Roger lives in London.
