Ivor Horton is a consultant who also produces programming lessons. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics with honors and has worked for IBM for many years. Horton's IBM experience includes programming in a range of languages (including assembler and high-level languages on a variety of machines), real-time programming, and the design and implementation of real-time closed loop industrial control systems. He has vast expertise teaching engineers and scientists programming languages such as Fortran, PL/1, APL, and others. Horton specializes in mechanical, process, and electronic CAD systems, as well as mechanical CAM and DNC/CNC systems.
