Being Inclined is the first book in English about the work of Felix Ravaisson, France's most influential philosopher in the second half of the nineteenth century. Mark Sinclair is Reader in Philosophy at the University of Roehampton and an Associate Editor at the British Journal for the History of Philosophy. He is the editor of Félix Ravaisson: Selected Essays (Bloomsbury 2017), the author of Bergson (Routledge 2019), and the co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of Modern French Philosophy (forthcoming). He holds degrees in Philosophy from the University of Warwick, Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV), and the Manchester Metropolitan University.
