Since then she's written many books for kids (most under her maiden name Jennifer Dussling). Jen lives on Long Island with her Argentinean husband Dario. Dario ended phone conversations with his family wuth the words 'besos muchos besos,' which sparked the idea for Besos for Baby.
Blanca Gómez is an illustrator and graphic designer living in Madrid, Spain. Simple things inspire her and her work, which has been described as clean, whimsical, and yes, simple. She works on a range of different projects for clients around the world, including Monocle, Marks & Spencer, Chronicle Books and Urban Outfitters, but she especially enjoys illustrating books for young readers. Besos for Baby is her third illustrated book, and the first one to be published in th United States.
