Anthony Williams is a C++ developer and consultant based in the United Kingdom. Since 2001, he has been a member of the BSI C++ Standards Panel, and he is the author or coauthor of numerous C++ Standards Committee papers that led to the inclusion of the thread library in the revised C++ Standard, known as C++11 or C++0x. Since 2006, he has been the maintainer of the Boost Thread library and the developer of Just Software Solutions Ltd's just:: thread version of the C++11 thread library. Anthony resides in Cornwall, England, in the far west.
