The Best of "Masterchef" by Loyd Grossman
Drawing on the rich source of recipes featured in the last four years of the award-winning series of "Masterchef", this book comprises over 200 recipes. Breaking away from the menu-style format which has previously typified each "Masterchef" cookbook, this book is divided for easy reference into soups and starters, main courses, vegetables and desserts, and is illustrated throughout. Entertaining commentary is provided by Loyd Grossman who reveals what occurred behind the scenes during the making of the programmes, and also reveals what has become of the winners. The book contains step-by-step instructions and preparation tips.Marshall Grossman is Professor of English at the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. He is the author of The Story of All Things: Writing the Self in English Renaissance Narrative Poetry (1998) and 'Authors to Themselves' Milton and the Revelation of History (1987); he is editor of two collections of essays, Reading Renaissance Ethics (2007) and Aemilia Lanyer: Gender, Genre, and the Canon (1998).
